THE LOVE IS... PROJECT

 

The Love Is Project is a dream birthed within the heart of a very young and amiture songwriter that was Kirsty Abrahams. As Kirsty has grown in her writting and performance abilities she has held this dream to herself, until now.

 

"The Love is Project is a dream found in the heart of any true worshiper. It is a dream to see the mainstream, secular world of music connect with the depth and intimacy of Modern day Praise and Worship."

 

The project foundationally built upon Matthew 22:36-39 [ESV]

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 

 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 

This is the great and first commandment. 

And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

 

This scripture can be broken down to two points:

        1. Love God

        2. Love People

 

The Love is Project like this Matthew 22 will also be broken down into two parts:

        1. Love is... Part 1 (God)

        2. Love is... Part 2 (People)

 

Part 2 of The Love Is Project will be released late 2015 or early 2016 and before Part 1.

This EP will include some of Kirsty's secular releases including both of her singles Breathe (2014) and Fly Away (2015).

 

Part 1 of The Love Is Project will be released at a later date and will include some of Kirsty's worship creations as well as some improvised worship tracks. You can expect a wide sound space with ambient vocal fills that create an intimate worship atmosphere.

 

After the release of both EPs, The Love Is Project will be available to purchase as a combination, complete with a few specialty bonus tracks and an accompaning DVD or music videos for each single.
